Not sure if that was on Crichton or my fault for taking longer than needed to read this. It took me a bit to remember who was who when reading it. Crichton does a great job setting up the mystery and getting you invested in wanting to find out what this object is. The best way I could describe my feelings towards this book is it was fine.

What lead me to reading this was a vaguely remember watching the movie back in the day and the bookstore I was at didn’t have “Jurassic Park”. “Sphere” is about the navy finding an object on the ocean floor and sending scientists down there to investigate. This is my second Crichton novel, first being “Drug of Choice”.
